Dear All,

The exciting part of using community organizing as the format of how I think of my ministry is seeing people becoming leaders and feeling a little more equipped in becoming evangelists and missionaries for God’s justice. So, for those of you who are still sitting in the pews and who don’t know what your next step is in ministry, I want to do a one on one relational meeting with you. So do some of the other leaders in this church… we want to challenge you to identify what your deep interest, passion, frustration, and desire is, and then help you gather the power to put your faith into action. I leave you this month with a benediction from Dick Halverson, former chaplain to congress.

Queridos hermanos,

La parte emocionante de usar el organizar comunidades como proceso de cómo pienso de mi ministerio es ver a personas hacerse líderes y sentirse más equipados ser evangelistas y misioneros de la justicia de Dios. Entonces, para los de ustedes que todavía están en los bancos y no saben lo que debe ser su próximo paso en ministerio, quiero hacer una visita relacional uno a uno con usted. También otros líderes quieren hacerlo también… queremos desafiarle identificar lo que es su interés, pasión, frustración, y deseo profundo, y queremos ayudarle en juntar el poder para actuar su fe. Congregational Development - Desarrollo Congregacional

Most of you are aware that over the last year or so, Gethsemane Presbyterian Church members have become more intentional in discerning where we want to go with our mission focus, both inside and outside the congregation. As a congregation, we joined the Allied Communities of Tarrant (ACT), where we have begun learning skills for interpersonal communications from Josephine Lopez Paul. Through training, observation, and trial experimentation with one-on-one relational meetings within Gethsemane, our Session has chosen to use community organizing as our process for leadership development and discernment.

At our Summer Retreat at Lockheed Martin Recreation Association this past July, we practiced some of these skills, and learned about the differences between Public Relationships and Private Relationships between one another. Several Gethsemane members have agreed to continue this leadership training, both informally and with more extensive formal training provided by ACT and its parent organizations. Perhaps most significantly, we obtained "buy-in" from many of our longest serving ("senior") members that these changes are good, and will smooth the generational transitions as our new leaders begin serving in church leadership roles. We also have committed to thoroughly include the youth membership in this process, since many of them could become our leaders within the next dozen years.

However, at this point these are only commitments. What we need now is to slowly change our way of doing things at Gethsemane, so that we all participate in redeveloping our congregation. The only way we can get strong enough to reach out to the community and grow is if EVERY member participates in building relationships with one another, in hearing stories, and in building power.

This congregational development process will take place over 6 sessions, starting with a potluck after church on October 27th. We are looking forward to everyone being there so that all of us can be developed into better disciples, and so that we can strengthen our church. These one on ones are what develops us. They are ministry. They are the Holy Spirit strengthening our church and making new leaders. Please make the commitment to be there with us the last Sunday in October… you are deeply valuable to this Body of Christ.

Como muchos saben en el último año, los miembros de la Iglesia Presbiteriana Getsemaní han discernido con más intención el enfoque de nuestra misión dentro de la congregación y afuera. Como una congregación nos hicimos una institución miembra de las Comunidades Aliadas de Tarrant (ACT), donde aprendemos talentos de comunicación por Josefina Lopez Paul. Por entrenamiento, observación, y experimentación con visitas relacionales uno a uno dentro de Getsemaní, el consistorio decidió de usar organización comunitaria como nuestro proceso de desarrollar liderazgo y discernimiento.

En nuestro retiro este verano en LMRA, practicamos estas destrezas y aprendimos las diferencias entre relaciones públicas y privadas entre nosotros. Algunos miembros de Getsemaní decidieron de continuar su entrenamiento como líderes, informalmente y con entrenamiento extensivo proporcionado por ACT y sus organizaciones padres. Quizás lo que es más importante es que recibimos la “bendición” de algunos de nuestros miembros más ancianos que estos cambios son buenos, y que van a ayudarnos en transiciones entre generaciones y con nuevos líderes en la iglesia. También nos hemos comprometido incluir a los jóvenes en este proceso como ellos pueden ser nuestros líderes muy pronto.

Pero a este punto todo esto sólo es compromiso. Lo que necesitamos ahora es de cambiar nuestra manera de hacer cosas en Getsemaní, para que todos participen en el re-desarrollar nuestra congregación. La única manera que podemos fortalecernos bastante para alcanzar a la comunidad y crecer es si CADA miembro participa en hacer relaciones fuertes los unos con los otros, por escuchar historias y juntar poder.

Este proceso de desarrollar la congregación pasará por 6 sesiones, empezando con un almuerzo compartido después del culto el 27 de Octubre. Buscamos a todos de participar para que todos seamos discípulos mejores, y para fortalecer a nuestra iglesia. Estas visitas uno a uno son el proceso de desarrollarnos. Son un ministerio. Son el Espíritu Santo fortaleciendo a nuestra iglesia y son el desarrollo de nuevos líderes. Les pedimos hacer el compromiso de estar allí con nosotros el último domingo en octubre… usted es una parte preciosa de nuestro Cuerpo de Cristo.

Coffee Ministry - Ministerio de Cafe

Our coffee ministry continues and is truly challenging those who are participating in developing ourselves in new outreach methods and as new leaders. This month we will be gathering some students into a small group “house meeting” to begin a discussion about issues that are important to them to see if we can start to build community and identify actions for us to do together to improve our community. If you would like to learn more, participate, or develop yourself as a new leader, please join us Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday from 9 to 11.

Nuestro ministerio de café continúa y nos desafía en desarrollarnos por nuevas maneras de alcanzar la comunidad y como nuevos líderes. Este mes vamos a juntar estudiantes en un grupo pequeño para una plática sobre asuntos importantes de las vidas de los estudiantes para establecer conexiones e identificar acciones para actuar juntos para mejorar nuestra comunidad. Si quiere aprender más, participar, o desarrollarse como un líder nuevo, favor de venir lunes, martes, o jueves de las 9 a las 11 am.

Bridge - El Puente

Report from the Bridge

At Josephine's prompting (read: kick in the behind) I've done 8 relational meetings in the last month, meeting with residents of Park Terrace from Ethiopia to Pakistan, Iraq to Fort Worth.  Most of them have been with mothers, many single mothers, and so a common concern is the safety and education of their children.  Most of them also have some concerns that the management is overly punitive and that some of the other residents are inconsiderate or even dangerous.  I've also had an opportunity to meet with a woman who has been doing ministry in the Park Terrace neighborhood for more than 3 years and has a bible study, English classes, and other programs established.  I look forward to partnering with her.

I've also had a chance to do relational meetings with members of the team and we're looking at ways to re-engage everyone in the work.  I do want to share a story about the visit Robert and I did last week.  Robert wanted to do a "ride along" to see what I was up to and so I decided to take him on my weekly visit to see N and H (the 6th grader who has the brain tumor).  I didn't have a specific agenda for the conversation except I knew I wanted to ask N about her spirituality (she's Muslim).  We started talking about spirituality and the health of her daughter and then Robert shared his experience with Gunner and how the prayers of the church, family, and friends across the country saved Gunner and how he is a healthy, happy young man.  Robert's story really touched N and all three of us were able to marvel at how wonderfully God acts.  Neither Robert nor I had made the connection that he had a very powerful story to share with this family until we were sitting in their living room, but God used Robert's experience to communicate something powerful, even sacred.  Incidents like this remind me why I keep going back to Park Terrace even though I often don't have a plan.

The going is slow and takes a big time commitment, but we're beginning to see relationships move beyond small talk and into deeper matters including spirituality.  Our next step will be to organize a house meeting in the next month or so.

Por la insistencia de Josefina, he hecho 8 visitas relacionales en el últimos mes, conociendo a los residentes de Park Terrace de Etiopía a Pakistán, de Irak a Fort Worth. La mayoría de visitas han estado con madres, madres solteras, y un asunto importante para ellas es la seguridad y educación de sus hijos. La mayoría de ellas también están preocupadas acerca de la administración que castiga a los residentes y unas piensan que hay residentes que no son educados o aún son peligrosos. También he tenido la oportunidad de encontrar a una mujer que ha hecho ministerio en este vecindario por más de 3 años y tiene un estudio bíblico, clases de inglés, y otros programas establecidos. Espero con gozo trabajar con ella.

También hice visitas relacionales uno a uno con miembros del equipo y buscamos a nuevas maneras a reconectar a todos a este trabajo. Quiero compartir una historia de la visita que hicimos Roberto Castillo y yo la semana pasada. Roberto quería seguirme para aprender lo que hago y entonces decidí de invitarle en mi visita regular con Nebiha y Hineen (la niña con el tumor cerebral). No tuve una agenda específica para la conversación excepto quería preguntar a Nebiha acerca de su espiritualidad (ella es musulman.) Empezamos hablando acerca de espiritualidad y la salud de su hija y entonces Roberto compartió su experiencia con Gunner y cómo las oraciones de la iglesia, familia, y amigos en todas partes del país salvaron a Gunner y ahora es un joven saludable y feliz. La historia de Roberto tocó a Nebiha y todos nosotros tres revelamos en los prodigios de Dios. Ni Roberto ni yo hicimos la conexión antes de sus experiencias antes de estar en ese salón, pero Dios usó la experiencia de Roberto para comunicar algo poderoso, aún sagrado. Incidentes como esto me recuerda por qué continúo a visitar a Park Terrace aunque a menudo no tengo un plan.

El proceso es lento y necesita mucho compromiso de tiempo, pero vemos el desarrollo de relaciones por el mover de platicar para asuntos más importantes incluso el espiritualidad. Nuestro próximo paso será organizar una reunión pequeña en el próximo mes.

Alzheimer’s Walk - Camino de Alzheimers

Pastora -- Congregational Development Process

O Lord hear my prayer, O Lord hear my prayer, When I call, answer me,

O Lord hear my prayer, O Lord hear my prayer, Come and listen to me.

Dear All,

The above chant is a Taize worship song that is intended to be sung over and over again as a form of meditation to open one’s heart to hear what God is doing. By singing it over and over, we actually learn to listen to God. Listening is a great challenge to our faith over all. We are so busy talking, planning, and doing, that we often only assume what others are saying, and what God is saying.

Discernment is trickier. It demands listening.

At our retreat in July, we talked about needing to develop ourselves as a congregation so that we can have leaders who are called and equipped and developed to do what God has called them to do.

We also talked about the need to really listen to one another, and get to know one another in a public relationship setting. A public relationship challenges us to move towards a goal, whereas a private relationship loves us where we are. At Gethsemane we are great at private relationships, but poor at public ones. We need to be developed as leaders, so we unanimously committed to a congregational development process that would take several months.

After the retreat, a group of leaders met with Josephine to talk about the congregational development process that we all committed to.

The folks who will have committed to plan and carry out this process include: Rev. Andy Wong, Bernabe Martinez Jr., Patty Martinez, George Rodrigues, Paula Rodriguez, Marlen Rodriguez, Douglas Abernathy, Astrid Atkinson, Travis Burdiss, Susie Sanchez, Sam Lee, and Rev. Lindsay. Josephine Lopez Paul, our community organizer will be guiding us through the process.

The purpose of a Congregational Development process is the formation (development) of a group of leaders who have looked deeply together into the life of the congregation, its mission, its role as community, (both internally and externally). This process will systematically identify and develop new leaders who could be added to congregational ministries, both current and future.

We will be having several potluck educational and discernment times throughout this process to hear one another stories and identify our shared experiences, passions, and call. Our first luncheon is planned for the last Sunday in October, the 27th, after worship. Until that time, you may be asked by the leaders of the congregational development process to sit and have a 30 minute one on one relational meeting. Please take the time to do so. It is only by getting to know one another better that we will more faithfully identify and develop new leaders and determine how to better live out our calling as a congregation.  

Let us listen to one another so that we can better listen to what God is saying.

El canto arriba es una canción de Taize que se debe ser cantado vez tras vez como forma de meditación para abrir su corazón a lo que Dios está haciendo. Por el cantarlo vez tras vez, aprendemos a escuchar a Dios. El escuchar es un gran desafío en nuestra fe. Estamos preocupados con hablar, planificar, y hacer, y a menudo sólo asumimos lo que otros dicen y lo que Dios nos dice.

El discernimiento es más difícil. Nos demanda escuchar.

En nuestro retiro en Julio, hablamos de la necesidad de desarrollarnos como una congregación para tener líderes que son llamados, equipados, y desarrollados para hacer lo que Dios llama.

También hablamos de la necesidad de escuchar en verdad los unos a los otros, y de conocernos mejor por relaciones públicas. Una relación pública nos desafía a movernos para una meta o misión, y una relación privada nos ama como somos. En Getsemaní tenemos éxito con relaciones privadas, pero no con las relaciones públicas. Necesitamos desarrollarnos como líderes, entonces unánimemente comprometemos a un proceso de desarrollo congregacional de algunos meses.

Después del retiro, un grupo de líderes se reunió con Josefina para hablar del proceso de desarrollo de la congregación.

Las personas que comprometieron de planificar y guiarnos por el proceso son: Rev. Report from The Bridge

After Big Tent, our big emphasis has been on prayer walking in Park Terrace.  We've had a chance to pray with and for almost ten different people and have met many more families from Ethiopia to Iraq to Nepal.  I've even had a chance to  converse in Spanish a few times.  Our goal is to be a consistent presence in the neighborhood so that people recognize us as a positive benefit to the community.

Princeton Abaroaha is going to be a spiritual director to our process, and we give thanks to God for that.

Special prayer requests for Hineen, a teenager at Park Terrace who has a massive growth on her brain that has very few options for healing at this point. Her mother is scared. Please pray with us.

Después del entrenamiento de “Big Tent”, nuestro énfasis ha sido los caminos de oración en Park Terrace. Hemos tenido de orar con casi 10 diferentes personas y conocemos a aún más familias de Etiopía, Irak, Nepal, y más. Aún he tenido la oportunidad de conversar en español algunas veces. Nuestra meta es de ser una presencia consistente en el vecindario para que la gente nos reconozca como un beneficio positivo en la comunidad.

Princeton Abaroaha va a ser nuestro director espiritual en el proceso, y damos gracias a Dios por eso.

Petición especial: Hineen, un adolescente en Park Terrace tiene un tumor en su cerebro que tiene pocas opciones para sanidad a este punto. Su mamá tiene gran miedo. Pedimos oración por un milagro.

Youth

Our youth worked very hard to prepare a worship service for Sunday, September 1st that shared their MoRanch experiences with the congregation.  They chose scripture, practiced praise songs, planned their presentations and even wrote the Prayer of Confession.  They were excited to share!  We give thanks for the multicultural potluck including fun activities and slideshow.  The worship was spectacular and gave us a glimpse into how their MoRanch trip blessed them.  Now their blessing became a blessing to YOU!  

Jóvenes

Nuestros jóvenes trabajaron duro para preparar el culto del domingo la 1 de septiembre para compartir sus experiencias de MoRanch con la congregación. Escogieron la escritura, practicaron coritos, planificaron presentaciones y aun escribieron la Oración de Confesión. Estaban muy animados para compartir con nosotros. Damos gracias por la comida multicultural más las actividades y fotos. El culto estuvo espectacular y nos dio una mirada de las bendiciones de MoRanch en sus vidas. Ahora su bendición es la nuestra.

Coffee Ministry

We have begun another year of coffee ministry. Sam Lee graciously shared an awning to protect us from the brutal sun. Each day we have connected with at least 10 students already. We have made connections through our prayer walks with leaders and staff at TCC. With ACT’s help, we are planning a meeting with the chancellor of TCC as well. Robert Castillo is going to be helping us evaluate regularly on our follow through of doing one on ones with those students with whom we develop connections, and Susie Sanchez is going to help us build connections and discern our direction as we do one on ones with the staff and student leaders at TCC.

We also give thanks to Yummy Yummy donuts on Jacksboro, their owner Derek and his mother who share their leftover donuts with our ministry.

Ministerio de Café

Ya empezó otro año del ministerio de café. Sam Lee nos compartió una tienda para protegernos del sol. Cada día hemos conectado con por lo menos 10 estudiantes ya. Hicimos conexiones por nuestros caminos de oración con líderes y personal en TCC. Con la ayuda de ACT, esperamos una cita con el chancellor de TCC. Roberto Castillo va a ayudarnos en evaluarnos en nuestras visitas uno a uno con estudiantes y Susie Sanchez va a guiarnos en establecer conexiones con TCC y discernir la dirección que vamos a tomar basado en las visitas uno a uno que hacemos con líderes en TCC.

Narrative Lectionary

The idea of having a lectionary (a set of readings that helped congregations read a variety of scriptures throughout the Christian year and standardized a lot of our holiday readings) was first developed in the 1960s, and built upon further in the 1980s and 1990s. The challenge is that Christians knew their Bible a whole lot better in the 1960s. Biblical illiteracy is a huge problem among American Christians today. So Luther seminary developed a new lectionary a few years ago called a narrative lectionary. It is a set of scriptures that helps a congregation journey chronologically from creation to Pentecost each Sunday during the school year, and Gethsemane is going to try it out this year. Sunday school classes for kids will follow the same scriptures that will be preached during morning worship, and monthly we will have intergenerational Sunday school where we learn the scripture together (adults and children). It is a great opportunity for us to educate folks about the connections between Bible stories, and hopefully it will inspire us all to read our Bibles on our own.

Leccionario Narrativo

La idea de tener un leccionario (una lista de lecturas que ayudan a congregaciones a leer una variedad de escrituras cada domingo en al año cristiano) fue desarrollado en los 1960s, y revisado en los 1980s y 1990s. El desafío es que en los 1960s los cristianos en los EEUUA conocían sus Biblias mejor que hoy. El analfebetismo bíblico es un problema grave entre cristianos en los EEUUA hoy. Entonces el seminario de Lutero desarrolló un leccionario nuevo hace algunos años que se llama el leccionario narrativo. Es una lista de lecturas bíblicas que se usan los domingos en los cultos para guiar una congregación por la Biblia cronológicamente de la creación para Pentecostés durante el años escolar. Getsemaní va a usarlo este año. Cada domingo las clases de escuela dominical de los niños y los cultos usarán estas lecturas y cada mes habrá una clase de todas generaciones juntadas para la escuela dominical para aprender la escritura junta. Golf Tournament

The Golf Tournament is Saturday, October 12, and it is quickly approaching! Color flyers are available for you to take to your workplaces and the businesses you frequent. We already have 6 sponsors, but are hoping to get many more. This year there is a prize for a weekend driving a luxury car for the winner of the closest to the pin contest, and a chance to win (and share with the church) a prize of $35,000 for a hole in one! Registrations are $100 per player. Please share this opportunity with friends, family, coworkers, and bosses!

Dear All,

The Lord created the sabbath, or day of rest, as a time to rejuvenate and recover from hard work... but the Lord also consecrated it as a sign to remember that we are free. The Israelites were once slaves in Egypt and the sabbath was a sign of their freedom granted by the Lord. It made them different.

Sabbath is not just about not doing work. It is about doing things that feed our soul and restore us. Some of my seminary professors taught us that sabbath is about playing and praying. Praying centers us on God, and playing allows us to enjoy God’s creation while remembering that we don’t always have to be in charge of things. When we sabbath, we learn to regularly put things into God’s hands for God to handle. The world does not have to rest upon our shoulders.

So as we take vacations this month, sabbath. Take time not just to rest and play, but take time to consciously put into God’s hands your anxieties, stresses, fears, and concerns. As we learn this discipline better, we become more obedient and trusting disciples, able to move through the world knowing how Great our God truly is.

El Señor estableció el día del descanso como tiempo para recubrir de trabajo duro... pero el Señor también lo consagró como señal que somos libres. Los Israelitas fueron esclavos en Egipto y el sábado (el día de descanso) era señal de la libertado recibido por el Señor. Así ellos eran un pueblo diferente.

El día de descanso no es sólo el evitar de trabajar. Es hacer cosas que alimentan nuestras almas y nos restauran. Algunos de mis profesores en el seminario nos enseñaron que el día de descanso es un día de jugar y orar. El orar nos centra en Dios, y el jugar nos deja gozarnos de la creación de Dios mientras recordamos que no tenemos que estar encargados todo el tiempo. Cuando guardamos el día de descanso, aprendemos a poner cosas en las manos de Dios regularmente, confiando en su soberanía. El mundo no tiene que estar en nuestros hombros.

Entonces, mientras tomamos vacaciones este mes, que guardemos el día de reposo. Tomen tiempo no sólo para descansar y jugar, sino también que pongamos con intención nuestras ansiedades, estreses, miedos, y preocupaciones en las manos de Dios. Y mientras aprendemos esta disciplina mejor, vamos a hacernos más obedientes, dispuestos a vivir en el mundo sabiendo la grandeza de Dios.

Next Steps Retreat - Retiro de Próximos Pasos

The Next Steps Retreat is an all day event on Saturday, July 27th, from 10 am to 5 pm at Lockheed Martin Recreation Center - LMRA - 3400 Bryant Irvin Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76109. We will begin promptly at 10 am with worship, and we look forward to a day led by Josephine Lopez Paul our community organizer with Allied Communities of Tarrant. We will spend time getting to know one another better, praying, singing, eating, discerning, sharing our hopes, and making commitments about what next steps we might take as a congregation. We are working to intentionally invite not only active members and attendees, but also inactive members, and those in the community who have a heart for Gethsemane even if they do not worship with us. We will be providing childcare at the retreat. The kids will have access to playgrounds and other fun activities. Please plan on attending. We will be signing up the Sunday before, and will be looking for eager volunteers to help us with cooking, set up and clean up. Let’s take our next steps together out onto the water!

El Retiro de Próximos pasos será un evento de todo el día el sábado, el 27 de julio, de las 10 am a las 5 pm en Lockheed Martin Recreation Center - LMRA - 3400 Bryant Irvin Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76109. Empezaremos a las 10 en punto con adoración, y Josefina Lopez Paul nuestra organizadora de comunidades con Comunidades Aliadas de Tarrant va a guiar unos talleres. Vamos a pasar tiempo en visitas relacionales, oración, canción, comer, discernir, compartir nuestras esperanzas y hacer compromisos acerca de próximos pasos individualmente y como una congregación. Trabajamos con intención a invitar a miembros activos y los que asisten nuestros cultos, más miembros inactivos, y los en la comunidad que tienen un corazón para Getsemaní pero no asisten los cultos. Habrá cuidado para los niños. Los niños tendrán diferentes actividades. Favor de planificar a asistir. Habrá una lista para firmar su asistencia el domingo antes y buscamos voluntarios para cocinar, preparar, y limpiar. ¡Que tengamos nuestros próximos pasos sobre el agua juntos!

Report from The Bridge - Reporte del Puente

We've had 2 neighborhood soccer games now with about 20 kids each and I'm very excited about the relationships were making.  Some of the parents are starting to trust us which is an important, if not the most important first step in building a relationship.  It's difficult to anticipate how these activities will lead to opportunities to go deeper about faith, prayer, or spirituality, but I know that we have to be patient and we have to trust God.  We cannot love people because we have an ulterior motive of faith sharing.  We must love people as a goal in and of itself and trust that a part of that love will be the sharing of faith, but only a part.

We continue to cast a vision based on the 5 steps of the fresh expressions movement in the UK:

Listen

Serve

Community

Discipleship

Church

The thing we need most is prayer, but if you happen to know anyone who likes playing soccer with kids, we could always use more help.

Tuvimos 2 partidos de fútbol con más o menos 20 niños cada vez en el vecindario y estoy muy animado acerca de las relaciones que establecemos. Algunos de los padres empiezan a confiar en nosotros, que es importante como primer paso de establecer una relación. Es duro de anticipar cómo estas actividades van a seguir para ser oportunidades de pláticas de fe, oración, o espiritualidad, pero sé que tenemos que estar pacientes y tenemos que confiar en Dios. No podemos amar a otros sólo con el motivo ulterior de compartir la fe. Tenemos que amar a otros primero como meta en sí misma, y confiar que a través de este amor, habrá oportunidades de compartir fe.

Continuamos a establecer nuestra visión basado en los 5 pasos del movimiento de expresiones frescas en Inglaterra:

VBS and Summer Splash event - Escuela Bíblica y Evento de Verano

We are aiming for several VBS one day events throughout the school year. Our VBS 1st event will be 10/26, tentatively

Biblical Splash Event will be 8/10 4-6 pm maybe 4-8 pm. Details will follow next month -- Astrid Atkinson

Changes to Church Finances - Cambios en las Finanzas de la Iglesia

We are automating our bank account and are in the process of doing all electronic checks and money transfers. Starting in July, Sam Frias will be responsible for managing deposits while Doug Williamson will handle all bill payments and requests for reimbursements.

Our new system allows for instant transfers to any email address. We also now have credit and debit cards that can be used. All requests for reimbursements will have to be sent to the payment treasurer's email box at gpcfw.treasurer@gmail.com or you can text Doug Williamson @ 817-683-9455.

New Keys, Toilets, and Floor repairs!

The buildings and grounds has had the lock on the doors to the church  changed and new keys will be replaced. If you have an old key, you will need to see George to get a replacement key asap.

Also we replaced the tank to the toilet in the women's handicap stall and it is working well. The flooring in the hallway has been repaired under warranty and looks great. -- George Rodrigues
